For more than three decades, Alberto has poured his heart into the Northwest wine industry, shaping both vineyards and vintages along the way. At Lanphere Cellars, he guides everything from the health of the vines to the final bottling, ensuring excellence at every step. You’ll often find him in the barrel room, inspecting the wines with care, or walking the rows of vines he knows by heart—a true steward of the craft he loves.

This year’s harvest brought in over 30 tons of premium fruit from Andrea Vineyard which is only one of our few locally owned and farmed vineyard properties. It was not only one of our highest-yielding sites to date, but also one of our most expressive, producing fruit with remarkable balance, depth, and purity. We can`t wait to share it with you, soon!

The end of September marks one of the most exciting stages of winemaking which means the start of fermentation is just around the corner! These freshly picked crates come from Andrea Vineyard.
At this point in the season, grapes are hand picked and harvested at peak ripeness, loaded into bins, and quickly brought to the cellar to preserve freshness and flavor. Only a few more vineyards to go!
